Had A-Rod named Gerry the starter at the end of spring and told the whole world he was better than ever, there might be more hype for Gerry and BYU.
Now, all of that said, the expectations for Rising (and Utah) are unreasonably high. Rising is not a great passer and has relied on his legs to make plays. Will he be able to make plays if he’s 75-80% of his old self? That’s a tough ask.
