Interestingly ESPN just ranked the 'best' stadiums - BYU and LES came in #31

The 5 just ahead of BYU were

26. Kibbie Dome, Idaho Vandals

27. Cotton Bowl

28. Kinnick Field, Iowa Hawkeyes

29. Albertsons Field, Boise St Broncos

30. Folsom Field, Colorado Buffaloes

And the 5 just after BYU were

32. Franklin Field, Penn Quakers

33. Rice-Eccles Stadium, Utah Utes

34. War Memorial Stadium, Wyoming Cowboys

35. Milan Pusker Field, West Virginia Mountaineers

36. Boone Pickens Stadium, Oklahoma St Cowboys

This was done with no parameters, which means that history and tradition definitely helped some locations
