yeah that was one of the unrealistic parts. reality would be standing on the porch watching it until it got
really close and then going inside at the last second.
i’ll say it was nice that they portrayed what oklahoma actually looks like. they weren’t in the prettiest parts but they covered the part that gets the most tornadoes. most movies portray oklahoma as barren desert.
