It was still good in 2022 but showed some signs of regression
I know the OL grades will show it was good in 2022 but there were still several games when BYU couldn't run the ball and they were awful in short yardage the entire season. The Liberty game was an abomination where you didn't score after the 1st quarter and prominent members of the offense were laughing on the sideline while getting blown out.

In 2023 the offense was a mess pretty much from start to finish all while Roderick praised it all offseason as upgraded.

He did do well with Zach and Jaren at QB (which he deserves credit for), but he didn't recruit either of those guys. None of his recruits at QB have worked out so far with this year looking pretty glim at the position.

Getting to a bowl game probably saves his job even if the offense is bad again because Kalani and the AD will likely see that as good enough. I personally would let him go if the offense doesn't make improvement regardless of the record.

And for goodness sake, he needs to recruit his position group better.
