All depends on connecting flights and the airport. If your airport and flight
time is likely to be a second leg for someone coming from another airport with your departure airport as a layover, they are checking in before your 24 hour window opens.
So could definitely see that problem for those in the middle of the country. I typically fly from GA to OR or GA to CA. Try to get the early flight so no one is really connecting from another airport.
