I like Jake, but all 3 of these new transfers are being severely overlooked. Hillstead has the likely QB of next season with Noah in the close passenger seat, but Gerry is a proven Player and has the size, resume, and experience to say that not only can he win, but he can win at the very highest level. This kid out of Western Michigan has quietly moved up, as well. While nobody is the obvious guy going into Fall Camp, BYU does have a solid 3-4 QB room, with some young guys who are going to make some noise in years to come. Having them work with the best QB trainer in the country, Beck, is also not a bad thing, either.
