I can totally understand that. I'm a jeep fan, and to me the renegade is kind of a cool commuter, but let's be honest
it's a Fiat 500 with Jeep headlights. It's not even a real off-roader despite what the "Trailhawk" packaging wants you to believe.
It doesn't fit at all with the Jeep brand. I believe it solely exists to get their fleet MPGs up so they sell Wranglers and Wagoneers with V8s without penalty. The Patriot and regular Cherokee (is that one dead yet?) are kind of in the same boat, but at least they are large enough to be a regular family crossover.
So yeah, I can see the Renegade not selling.
