was happy that her precious books were going to do some good now that she no longer had her big home. She was an art history major in her later years and had tons of expensive books. None of us had any interest in them so we dropped them off at DI. As we were leaving, I thanked the main guy at the drop off. He said, "Well to be honest, we get a LOT of books on the weekends so that pallet where I had you unload the books you donated will be taken to the shredder and sold as paper scrap to a recycler".
If I ever want to kill my MIL off, I will tell her that story. Until then, she'll never know.
