I use mileage. Mileage meter divisible by 5000, it's an oil and filter
change. If the mileage is divisible by 10000, I change the air filter as well. Divisible by 20000, check the cabin filter.
Other fluid checks, several times a year.

Modern cars are so great. All I have to do on mine is hit the reset button and my oil life goes back to 100%.
