about 10x that number are injured.
300,000 people are estimated to drive drunk every day.
Clearly, these are people willing to play the odds.
So, if caught, we'll play the odds.
They have to choose a bullet out of 9,999 blanks and 1 live round, then put it to their head and pull the trigger.
The vast majority will survive.
Then, a firing squad of 10 will each get to select a bullet and aim from 20 yards away; no headshots.

This is just stupid. People do dumb things when drunk. Make decisions that they would never make otherwise.
