Barca, Bayern Munich, Man U, Chelsea… pick a team from that tier. I’ve represented buyers of teams in several leagues. I’ve seen the financials, valuations, etc. Our sports leagues are so much better for making money it’s not even funny.

I did not say it will be the best league in 10-15 years. I said it will happen in due course. But it’s happening faster than a lot of people realize and for reasons a lot of people don’t realize.

In my view if Europe formed a super league, it would hurt the US in the long term because it would make that league the most profitable by a long shot. The US will benefit a ton if it can stay the only league with the superior economic model. I’m glad it didn’t work out when some of the clubs pushed for it a few years ago.
