I read this article. 50% of the weight in scoring is how crowded the park is.

I certainly get that being a factor with how crowded some parks are. However, despite the crowds, I don’t see ever preferring many of those top 10 (like Great Basin and Death Valley…not top 10 even with no one else there) to Yosemite, Glacier, Teton, Yellowstone, or a number of other parks (including any of the five in Utah).
