honest about the individual risk/benefit for pushing the covid vaccine for kids which fueled a lot of the anti-vaccine, anti-establishment, anti-medicine, etc views.

So that just emboldened people to run with it spilling over into the other vaccines that the vast majority of parents accepted before all of this.

It’s actually a huge shift in how many now view medicine - had a guy even today who wouldn’t trust my recommendation of a life-saving procedure and medication for a heart attack because he just doesn’t believe anyone anymore. You use to see some of that. You see a lot more of it now.

And I understand at least some of the sentiment as academic and govt leaders truly it weren’t honest (which many on the left seem to agree with now).
