Are the thermostats connected to separate HVAC/furnish units?

Seems weird that both screens are dead unless they are both connected to the same main unit. I’m not sure how two thermostats can control one unit unless it is a mini split with one compressor/condenser and 2 evaporator/air blowers

No breaker switches are flipped. I flipped the AC breaker off and on just to see if that would do anything. It didn't.

Do you have your old thermostats stashed in a drawer? Maybe reattach those and see if you can get it to work. Stop gap

I'm pretty sure we do. Whether I'll be able to figure out how to reconnect it is another story.

You can pull them off the wall. The wires seem to be connected fine. But it would be weird if both thermostats had wire

I agree. I'm just thinking maybe a restart to both devices would help flush out

You can charge them via usb. They should be getting power from the furnace but it’s a vampire charge not a dedicated

I was able to disconnect the wall unit and charge that with the USB. So, I'm getting the display now. But it's still

Charge the head unit fully with USB

Check the fuse on the furnace.

I went up to the attic to check the furnace. I'm sure there must be a fuse there but I certainly couldn't find it.

Take off the panel. It’s a small rectangle with a number on it. Most like 5.

I've seen two thermostats on one unit before. Usually the second thermostat controls a damper to let air through that

Yeah, it's one AC unit but it's split for upstairs and downstairs

Ended up being a loose wire in a panel board in the attic. So, $79 later is running again.
