Kamados are incredibly efficient in their burn cycles but they’re also (to me) less clean smoking (more smoldering) than others at traditional smoking temps. One big advantage of course with them is that at higher temps, these things are awesome for more traditional grilling.
My favorite taste by far is my WSMs. They hold their temps well in decent weather but use more fuel.
Wintertime, I use my pellet stuff almost exclusively.
Camping I’ll use a little WSM or a barrel smoker.
