Interesting. I’ve stayed at Aton of places in Hawaii, California and even
Montana and haven’t heard of insurance for grills. Maybe it’s just embedded in the the rental agreement and nightly fee. I’ve never seen it as a standalone fee like tax or a cleaning fee.

You could have a grill with a connector that accepts those small propane canisters. Then people can just buy their own.
