As do millions of people because Texas Roadhouse is a very popular restaurant chain.
Often, meaning once, maybe twice a month.
I know Texas Roadhouse is not the Big Texan Steak Ranch or anything. But for being convenient just about everywhere TR is pretty darn good and reasonable Steak place to eat.
So having ordered many a steak dinner at TR I just don't remember not getting a very satisfactory steak in size, tenderness and cooked just right. I order medium rare and that is what I always get.
It's sad people don't throw the peanut shells on the floor anymore. A victim of covid. But peanuts are still available in packs. So a person could throw the shells on the floor if they wanted to. Actually I prefer the floors clean rather than littered with shells.
Also I haven't see the waitresses line dance lately. I suppose that has gone also. This might be crazy to some but on a recent trip there a popular western song came on and I mentioned that to the waitress and she said, "Hey, how about we do a little two-step down the aisle?" She grabbed another nearby waitress for my friend and away we went. Did a little two-step through the restaurant. The patrons all appreciated it, clapped loudly and it was fun. I like the laid-back atmosphere at TR. And as usual, the steak was just great.
I love the salad and rolls at Texas Roadhouse as well. Great dinner. Can't beat the price. I think people tend to tip well when it's such a great experience. I've heard the wait staff makes a very nice amount of money on their shifts.
