I think the spike in recruiting is more about funding, but KY is clearly no slouch as a first year HC.
I think his brother has been perhaps the #1 recruiting qualification on his resume, too. He helped him with hiring good college/HS recruiters.
Which is very promising — cuz KY's weakness — at least to start off — was expected to be in recruiting.
