Holmoe will retire at the end of the season and leave it up to a new AD to hire

his guy if that's what needs to be done. Part of the deal with going to the B12 was that Holmoe had to stay on board for 2 seasons. He already wanted to retire but had to stay on per the contract. At the end of the season he's gone whether it's a good season or not.

He's not in a tough situation, he's counting the days. As a competitor I'm sure he's hoping for a strong season, of course.
