I love what the basketball staff is doing with recruiting, but I'm also a firm believer that you need guys down the roster who can develop, want to be at BYU because of the cultural ties, and will provide the bodies and competition needed for practice and such. Also, I could be totally wrong.

I had hoped to us also fill out the roster with more players like Tredyn Christensen and Townsend Tripple, solid LDS players who can develop and potentially contribute and appreciate the BYU experience. Aaron Bliss fits that category, in my thinking. Will see what happens. NIL and the transfer portal is a different world and maybe it means something quite different for roster construction and full rosters.
