Life is better with Blue Goggles. I shift to realism when realism is presented after a loss, but that shift doesnt hurt
me the way it seems to hurt so many of you. I shrug and let it go.

If you can be okay with letting it go, optimism about things you can’t control and that don’t materially affect you outside of your emotions, is a better way.

To put it simply, it just means that when something only affects how you feel, and you have a choice, you might as well choose to feel good about it. Consider the best possibility for the time that nothing is happening.

When it’s time to come back to Earth, say “yeah, that’s too bad, but that was always a reasonably-likely outcome. 🤷🏼‍♂️” Move on to what you control and hope for the best remaining result in the thing you don’t.

In a bet or an argument, take the goggles off temporarily. But put them back on when it doesn’t matter again if you’re right or wrong.
