numbers were as much (or more) related to poor line play, and subpar running game, setting him up to be tee'd up on by the defenses. He, of course, had the huge mistake against OU, but like I have said in the past, mistakes are what we all do as humans. Detmer had 5 int's vs Oregon one game in a loss as a new starter, but went on to be one the best QB's in NCAA history. Jake should not be judged on the small sample of those two games. There's just much more to consider, and anyone drawing hard fast conclusions on Jake Retzlaff or Jerry Bohanon, just shows their own naivete, and tendency to make rash judgements, IMO, rather than consider their own fallibility.
