A year ago Notre Dame tried and failed to hire away Utah's offensive coordinator. Utah managed to retain him and he even stated he would be staying at Utah for the rest of his career.
It made news in the moment... But now, a year later, how much clout do you really believe it's given Utah?
Their 2024 class took a step back and their top 2025 recruit target (WR Jerome Myles, 4 star Corner Canyon WR and lifelong Utah fan) just committed elsewhere.
Jax (and/or Ludwig) may be worth what it costs... But if so it has to be based on what they actually bring, not on some hypothetical clout that goes under the radar to just about everyone and is quickly forgotten
