That rumor was from a very frustrated now former BYU employee who was trying to make a point that has now spread like wildfire. Prior to the coaching change, Dallin had every intention of playing in Provo. He told me that lol. With a coaching change comes all types of uncertainty-- just like any of you, you want to do what's best and check the waters and see what's available. Fans are getting too comfortable calling everything "NIL" money grabs etc. I am confident the kid will get paid anywhere he chooses to go-- including BYU, but that's just my opinion. KY has a big job ahead of him to retain the talent currently in the portal, but saying anyone is "gone" wouldn't be accurate IMO. But hey-- all this is from some rando who has a unique position regarding BYU athletes lol take it for what it's worth.
