Putting up a physical university is significantly more difficult than building a

temple. It needs a local teaching pool (and a location that can sustain a teaching pool), facilities, etc. The trend is to do this all online and that is exactly what the Pathway program does.

BYU, BYU-I and BYU-H aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
