I have another son that is in PA school now that is going to do something
similar, but he got a full tuition scholarship that requires that he work in an underserved area for a couple of years, so he doesn’t even need to take out the loans. I don’t understand how the scoring works, but areas (or hospitals/practices) get a numerical score or something. The score needed to qualify for LPNs under this program is like a 19. But the score for PAs is only 7 so there are many places open to him that you wouldn’t normally consider to be underserved.
