I live outside Utah/West and can't really say how high it registers
I'm admittedly not plugged into everything college football, but I'd be hard pressed to say I hear a lot about the game as a casual college football fan compared to other generic rivalries across the country.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it figures large in my mind only because I went to BYU and have family on both sides.
