Middle of winter with the top down? Sure, an experience but nothing you'd actually want to repeat on a regular basis unless you like being cold and miserable when you could easily be warm and comfortable.

Maybe we could try middle of the summer and headed to the beach. That sounds perfect, actually. Oh, wait. If you put the top down you'll have absolutely nowhere to put your stuff.


They can be a fun car for a teenager who's got nothing but fun places to go. They can also be a fun car for a dealer to use to chauffer customers around (which I did in college). Everybody wanted the top down. But other than an occasional fun drive here or there, they aren't all that practical.
