Howard Bannister Playmaker
Same exact thing happened to my 7th grade son. We gave in and let him play
football.

He was a keeper in soccer and the instincts really helped him as he wanted to play receiver.

Since he waited so long to begin football however, he was behind on the depth chart despite his good hands and hard work. Lone Peak begins the process of picking their varsity players by the 1st grade, so I knew it would be an uphill battle.

He gutted it out until his fall high school sophomore season was over, then he came to us and said he wanted to try Ultimate Frisbee.

He finally landed on his dream scenario - Lone Peak had an incredible program and legacy for Ultimate, and he also found and made his best friends to this day.

They won a National club championship his senior year, so it all turned out awesome for him.

Good luck to you! Seems like a great kid that will do well in many different scenarios.
