because he has been in the arena of CFB expansion for years, some of the sources he's developed are probably using him to leak certain agendas.

His "rightness" extends beyond the USC/UCLA thing too. He was months ahead of ASU Hockey situations, and his "ASU Money Perch" info then and in this round of realignment have proven to have useful and correct info/insight. Flug was also saying long before anyone esle out there, that he wouldn't be surprised if FSU tried to lead the charge to challenge the ACC GOR. I'm sure he'll be wrong on some things too, but he's got his real name and face attached to this stuff unlike many other accounts out there (MHVer3 and Genetics56 specifically).

If you follow his tweets and his show, he's pretty guarded about making bold predictions. However, he doesn't mind the speculation and the "what ifs" and it's clear that, in some areas, he's trying to read the tea leaves like everyone else, but with more background knowledge/sources than the rest of us. He does seem genuinely interested and excited about all things realignment and I think he loves doing his show. Doubt he's making loads of money on it though.

I've called into his show twice and did a $20 donation a couple of shows ago so he would read my mediocre attempt at humor on the air:

"Great show Greg! Karen paid me extra money this month and asked that I slide you an extra $20 for your great work in the 12Anon Cabal. Long Live Karen and Yormark! Long live the Big12! Death to the PAC!"

He chuckled, but said he wouldn't read the last line.

I think some his motivation at this point is defending himself. He's been repeatedly attacked directly by Altimore and the Genetics56 Twitter account (including jabs at his intelligence and weight). You can tell it's pretty personal on his side at this point, and I get it.
