There's a difference between what's done and when it's publicly announced
Keep in mind that the deadline is June 30th for teams to sign on the dotted line if they want to join another conference for the 2024-2025 season.
USC and UCLA were talking to the B1G and signing documents long before they announced it. Same with OU and Texas.
It's important that you know deals and negotiations aren't done all in one day and announced on Twitter. You know this right?
