U would need to look at a Big 10 basketball schedule to see who they partner the
Buckeyes with. U keep wanting to cherry pick the less obvious ones find an exception or two and then claim NOBODY has travel parents.
I am going to guess the B1G traveling synergy includes
Michigan Michigan State
Indiana Purdue
Illinois Northwestern
USC UCLA
Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Iowa probably get artificially combined into 2 pairs
Ohio State probably gets grouped with Penn State a bit artificially
Leaving Rutgers and Maryland as a forced grouping.
I am just guessing right off the top of my head - but I bet this is close.

New Mexico UTEP
AZ ASU
Maybe SDSU UNLV
Can’t remember if CSU paired with Wyoming or Air Force.
Obviously this gets more emphasis when the conference is spread but pairs of teams are close together. IE The West.
