From everyone that I know that has played for him or worked with him, Tuiaki was really well liked. He obviously benefited by his close friendship with Sitake, but had to have some redeeming coaching qualities to stay employed at multiple schools. I just don’t feel that leadership responsibility is for everyone. It just seemed that he got way too comfortable, along with a few others, which sadly flooded over into recruiting, practice, and motivation. There is a a definitive stronger feeling of unity and aggressive preparation, with the new coaches.
