Agreed. I always felt that the flag was a bit outdated. I will disagree with you
on the being embarrassed from Utah. Many of my friends have Utah listed on their Facebook/SM profiles and only a few of my friends actually express embarrassment about being from here (these are more my left-leaning liberal friends which I understand why).
But, in regards to the new flag, I like it and its simplicity and will probably own a hat with the design on it.

I’ve never liked Utah’s flag. This one isn’t the version I wanted, but it’s pretty good. I’m happy with the change.
