I hear you, but I think a few B12 schools are doing both. Maybe not to some B1G or SEC levels but
I think the large state schools got a huge wake up call when OUT decided to bolt out of nowhere. Now schools like Oklahoma State and TTech are having success with their NIL collectives and doing major work on facility upgrades at the same time. OSU might even get help from their state. TCU and Baylor have smaller alumni bases but their donor's pockets' are deep.
