USC had played a couple games already. That was Utah's first. There is a clear disparity. By the time
Utah got to its 3rd game, Ty Jordan was erupting as an elite talent.
Count the win for USC. They were the better team. I wouldn't even consider an asterisk there.
But...I see the point he's making. I disagree but it's not crazy.
The bigger point is that Utah and USC have traded spars the last several years.
