Small fanbase with little upside. Take away their winning history and it’s a
huge failure. Same reason Boise State carries little value.
But a team like UNC or Duke carries huge upside even if they start to lose regularly. Because they’re a different caliber of program with massive brand recognition and a large fanbase.
