It would be helpful that this year's defense would play better and that
BYU's offense would play better then other QBs could get meaningful experience. This team is not ready for the Big 12 (as of yet). And in some ways, neither are some of the coaches (not naming names).

Hard to know with Conover. A lot of the skepticism is based on him llnot looking great when he got thrown in against USU
