This. Word is the blue paint isn’t good for the health of the grass so they try not to use it until end of the season.

Exactly, it’s worse for the turf than all of the other grass nfl & college stadiums that paint their grass? Come on now!

Penn State doesn't paint much on its field either. OU paints its end zones but the grass looks terrible.
