I’m new to the RV game myself and have the 10sp in a 2021 F150 - while I had
Plenty of power to pull a 7000 lb trailer it didn’t shift as smooth as I expected. It was obviously more noticeable climbing with a heavy load but it was a minor disappointment. I agree on the equalizer hitch. That’s a game changer.

I swapped my 30’ trailer for a 24’ last week and it made all the difference. No squat and no noticeable sway even without the EQ hitch. Got the same mpg with the smaller trailer as with the big one which is my new disappointment.

Starting to feel like the RV life is just as expensive as driving a comfortable car or suv and staying in hotels. After you figure fuel and all the costs associated with the trailer.
