I had to rent a one ton diesel Silverado last year to pull our fifth wheel to
Montana. It has the 10 speed and that sucker could haul! I'd often catch myself going about 90mph without any struggles and going up the mountain passes with ease. I'm back to a 6 speed tranny and know that it will perform very adequately, but will definitely miss the 10 speed.
