Yes, they have experience, but we live in a new age with NIL, streaming, and a changing landscape. Having a traditionally safe pick who is familiar with OLD terrain may not be as helpful as someone who can creatively and proactively chart NEW terrain. This guy understands promotion and media - two things critical for dealing with NIL and the next TV contract.
