If they truly practiced what they preached, then they would be putting that wasted rent money into racial justice, gender equality, LGTBQ, and other platforms that they feign to support (when they aren't acting greedy). According to the article, they spend $90M on rent during their decade in SF. They could have spent a fraction of that in a lower-cost city in the West.
