Jerks in anything tend to be the loudest in the room. It's not just sports. I've
met some cougar fans who were just as obnoxious as the Ute stereotype. I've met some really cool Ute fans. Jerks are just going to be jerks. Sport team loyalty is just an avenue for them to justify to themselves why they act like they do.
