Staying at the Grand Californian is amazing. You can hop back to the hotel for a nap/swim/etc right from the park.
When we’ve stayed there in the last we’ve reentered the park 4 times in a day, it’s so convenient.

The crowds are what makes Disneyland awful. I might go back if they found a price point that kept the crowds down

Demand for Disneyland tickets is very inelastic. Raise prices 10% and it only decreases demand by a couple % points.
