Happy to revisit this after we play a good team
(Which we didn’t do last year, and we don’t know if we’ve played a good team yet this year.)
We won’t beat Baylor or USC if our defense can’t get off the field. Time of possession is important. At BYU even more important with our lack of depth relative to p5.
I’m sorry, but you reveal yourself as a casual by scoffing at this. We got very lucky against ASU by them spotting us several turnovers, and it was still a 1 score game until almost the very end.
Our offense would put up 40 pts a game if they weren’t watching from the sideline for 2/3 of it.
