In our working years, we pay dearly to the federal government. In retirement, the taxman leaveth, making a no-tax early retirement a distinct possibility.
It absolutely can be done if you do it right. We don’t know what future capital gains rates will be or what changes may happen. If any changes do happen, I don’t think people bringing in $100k per year will notice much of a difference.
