Over 109 million doses of vaccine administered in US with zero deaths linked to it. Hospitalization for the vaccine side effects very rare to the point where there have been zero in the health system I work for.

Meanwhile about 30 million diagnosed with COVID in US (probably many more who have had it) with 541,000 deaths and counting, 1.8 million hospitalized and counting.

Whatever you're seeing from online anecdotes, the data indicates that for any given person getting COVID is riskier than getting the vaccine.
