We kept a step-stool at the foot of our bed so my daughter could climb into our bed. She was 3 when I had he procedure.
The same day I had the procedure she came running into our bedroom, zipped up the step-stool and did her best Superman impression to land on my chest because she was excited to see me. Her knee landed in the worst place possible.
It was excruciating.
