We "cut the cord" a couple of years ago with a Roku and YouTube TV but...
due to the consistent price increases, we went back to Xfinity and saved on cable and internet total. YouTube TV is no different than cable now. They have bloated options and a large flat fee. The only real material difference IMO is the ability to go month-to-month. Wouldn't be surprised if they nixed that too.

On a related note, I believe TV/internet service providers have figured out that, in order to "cut the cord" users need internet so what they have been doing is upping the price of stand-alone internet so you can almost always save with a bundle. Pretty clever.
